Alliance battles need fix fast!!!
I have no idea where to report expoilts back heck i guess here will do and if this is the wrong place i hope some who knows will pass it on to anet.
why anet doesnt have a proper way to report stuff i have no idea!!!
anyways, logged on to see luxons had been pushed miles back, didnt really care though, got to look at the new map we hadnt been to before.
started a battle and instantly saw why we were losing so badly....
2 kurzicks fighting on the luxon side, 1 a 55 necro saccer, another a monk
the necro must of died 40 times before battle had even started and the kurzicks were winning by 120 points due to the deaths on the luxon side.
that added to the luxons quitting over the shambles that was that crap and the 2 kurzick then not fighting, 12 v 7 with a 120 point head start will win everytime even if the map is heavy in favour of the luxons.
a fix is needed now!!!
like stopping a team from scoring untill the fight starts seems the most logical (why that isnt the case anyway just goes to show how much anet are losing the plot - 2 weekend of beta testing is NOT beta testing)

you know, this is not the first time it has happened, sometime ago a thread was made, with a guild team using EoE and saccers to kill the entire alliance team, and it happened first (it seems) in the kurzick side.

this has happened before, but before, the algorithm of the ABs was different, and now we can actually see it happening.
i hope Anet can fix the score issue.

It doesn't need a fix "fast", because of this I'm getting to play a map I'd normally never see.
In any case, all they need to do is make suicides not count for the score. Sure, then you can "exploit" that to rob people of score points by suiciding right before they kill you, but between you being out for 20 seconds and the fact that scoring by capturing is usually far faster anyway I doubt it'd be an issue.

i doubt all the guilds that lost control of their towns to kurzicks would agree with that.
you hardly ever out for 20 seconds, takes more like 5 seconds to respawn or with the monk resing you even less.
and how can you capture bases when 1 you cant even start fighting yet or when you do start you have a major number disadvantage.
stopping suicides counting is a bad idea of a fix, but then what is a good idea, i dont know.

This attitude ruins it for other players, and suicide is an exploit that should be prevented
/signed for suicide fix.

It will be probably fixed soon with some simple matter. But the spy-55 problem won't be solved easily. THe can prevent the score to change before the first captured point BUT they cannot make the people not killing themselves for no reason.

ok then how about taking away the right of a guest to use any of the guests guilds ncp coz guests are only ment to be there to help with gvg.
by stopping them using the enter alliance battles they cant spy.
just have the ncp say sorry you not part of this guild.

Just make self-inflicted deaths not count towards score for either side. This is already the case in every other game ever, so I assume the only reason it's not in is because it's easier to check "if dead {give score}" than checking what's the cause of death.

...I use a guest invite to AB...and I don't EoE...I'd just rather not join the guild again so I talk to an officer and get an invite and boom, I can go kill something...Not letting me use the NPCs in the hall is just...wrong. I don't want to join a guild just to AB..that's not right either.

why would you want to ab for the other side, if its to gain faction there are ther ways to do this, maybe not as fast but if me gaining kurzick faction slightly slower stop this happening thats a good thing.

I was the Rezmer and my friend was the saccer. We were the master minds behind the incredible stunt, we didn't force the line back, but we did help keep it there. Originally we were just rage quitting though. Anyway thought I might mention that. I don't see it as being much of an exploit really, just mainly a tactic that ANYONE could use. It's not like you couldn't do the same thing to us. Perhaps later I'll get my friend and we'll sac each other and make a lot of wild flesh golems in the starting gate lol.
